About Us

Julie and Walt are long-time Sonoma County residents who live in Rincon Valley. They currently own four cats, Sammy, Stormy, Shadow and Maxi, whom they adore. Julie also raised and trained a black lab, Lizzie, who went on to become a breeder for Canine Companions for Independence, and had 5 litters of puppies for them. Sadly, after a very full and meaningful life, Lizzie passed away at the ripe old age of 16 1/2. Growing up in a big family, Julie was active in 4-H and raised rabbits, trained a Guide Dog puppy, and enjoyed riding horses in her home town of Fort Bragg. Walt is the 'cat rescuer' in the family and always has a soft spot for any stray cat that happens to end up on their porch; thus they keep adding to their brood. Julie and Walt have both loved and worked with animals in one capacity or another most of their lives and have found the pet sitting business the perfect niche for them.
